What's the most valuable thing you've ever had stolen?
I first thought the question read as ' What's the most valuable thing you've ever stolen?'
Huh, what does that tell you...........and for the record the most valuable thing i've ever stolen was a kit kat bar when i was 8.
I tried to go to church but they wouldn't let me.
I live in downtown Salt lake City. There are 3 LDS churches in a 9 block radius from my house.
I wasnt dressed in time to try and catch an 11 am service nor was a awake to try and catch a 9 am service, so I figured i would go to the 1 pm service. Finally found something to wear.*
Go to the first ward house no ones there. Go to the next ward house, no ones there, go to the 3rd one and you guessed it, no ones there!
Like my brother said " what is Zion coming to?!"
*(its probably a good thing I didn't find a service due to my outfit. You see all the dresses I have with me are very short. Luckily I have several long slips and coats. I had to change from my pewter shoes to my gold ones to look a little less film nior.)
Share the song that most makes you think of "disco."
that is until tomorrow
What's the most memorable crush you have had?
Submitted by spectacular.
My first crush was in kindergarten. I remember cutting in line to stand next to him. I would give him the trading cards I got from the Wheaties cereal. AAHHHH. Of course he never really noticed me.
I still dream of two of my boyfriends from junior high on a regular bases. They always make me smile. Boyfriends in junior high were fun. "Going out" at that time meant passing notes, holding hands during lunch and assemblies. Making out was kissing non stop at someone's birthday party or at the school dance. During recess we would play team sports and they would always pick me first. Those were the days. I talk to one of them still.
Then came high school. There the crushes suddendly became much more complicated. Of course it did not help my dating pool was much shallower then others. I was related to majority of the boys and the boyfriends from junior high had now become my best friends. I had to fish in the next town over. Like a dream my "fish" decieded to move to Dub-Town. All the girls went nuts over the "new kid". Luckliy I already had him. I just takled to him on the phone today. It is a wonderful feeling to know that your "crush", in this case my first love, remembers the first time you meet, the first time you held hands, your first kiss...........
What's the best music documentary or concert film you've seen?
ABBA: The Movie
Ok not really the best but, I just watched it last night. It was during a tour in Australia. A radio reporter is trying desperately to get the "in depth, personal" interview with the supper group. In the beginning the report does not understanding the ABBA phenomenon. As he chases after the band he interviews the fans. The answer to the question " Why do you like ABBA?", "They're tidy", They're nice looking". I thought that it was interesting that a show band from Sweden was described as "tidy" and "nice looking" at the height of the 70's. In fact one fan, a girl of like 6, described them as "sexy".
I know the clips are not from the movies but, I wanted to hear these songs again tonight so there.........................
The best music documentary is New York Dolls. It follows Authur in his quest to reunite and play with the Dolls again. You can not help but develop deep emotion towards Aurthur. You find yourself rooting for his success and praising his actions. Its a wonderful to hear of the support and respect Aurthur has earned from other rock legends. If you are a rock fan, then you know the deep impact that the New York Dolls have made on music. Truly brilliant!
